Friends of the Musk Ox
Friends of the Musk Ox, casually known as FOMO, is our membership support organization.
We are currently making major organizational changes to ensure long-term stability of the project. There is much work to be done.
Our major fundraising goal for this year is $350,000 which we hope to meet with a combination of grants and private gifts.
Joining Friends of the Musk Ox is a great way to participate in the project, even when you are far away! Your contribution will make a meaningful difference in caring for the herd of sixty musk ox. In return, we will keep you up-to-date on farm news with our all-new FOMO newsletter.

Average annual feed and health costs, per musk ox: $1871
Hay: $500
Grain: $110
Minerals & Salt Licks: $25
Veterinary Care: $200
Vaccinations & Medicine: $36
Fencing: $100
Multi-Milk (per calf): $900

The Musk Ox Development Corporation is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization. Your donations are tax-deductible.
Donations are considered unrestricted gifts. They will be applied towards whatever is needed most on the farm. Whether hay and grains for the calves or fencing repairs for the bulls, whether lightbulbs for the barn or prenatal vaccines for the expectant cows, your gift will be integral to keeping the farm open this year.
