Ask the Oxperts: Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium

Join us for a presentation by Shannon Smith, Assistant Curator of the Zoological & Environmental Education Department at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington! Shannon was one of the main caretakers of the zoo's musk ox calf, Trebek, who now calls the Musk Ox Farm home. She'll talk about the musk ox program at the zoo and why the decision was made to move Trebek to Alaska. The Musk Ox Farm will talk about Trebek's arrival, and how he's doing! There will be time at the end of the presentation to engage and ask questions.
