About the Event

Join Ruth Hirsiger of Musk Ox Creations in the beautiful Musk Ox Farm loft for this ox-some opportunity to learn a new technique and make a lovely hat or set of cozy leg gaiters!

Ruth specially created these two patterns for the Musk Ox Farm to introduce knitters to the Fair Isle style of knitting. So, if you feel Fair Isle has been out-of-reach, this workshop was custom designed just for you!

Who is it for?

A note from Ruth……

Knitting Fair Isle IS EASY! It only looks difficult! Yes, it’s true, much like anything else, somebody either loves it or doesn’t. But if you are intrigued by colorful patterns and designs, I hope you gather your courage and give this great opportunity a try. If you don’t try you’ll never know - and you might be in for a surprise :)

In this work shop we are shooting for success and plan to finish the project.

I was introduced to fair isle at a young age in Scandinavia, on Iceland, and the Faroer Islands. I never lost my passion and joy to create colorful patterns and look forward to sharing this with you. Come join the FUN!
