Jörd
Jörd was named after the Norse Goddess of the wild earth! Quite the appropriate name for this musk ox, we think. She has become known for a little trick she likes to do while being weighed or combed in the barn, which is to completely flip around so that she's facing backward once in the stanchion. Then, when it's time for her to leave the barn since she's facing the wrong way it means she has to then awkwardly shuffle out backward.
You can receive oxclusive photos and updates about this herd member throughout the year AND support the farm by joining Friends of the Musk Ox (FOMO).
Click on the button below to open the adoption form. Both new and renewing FOMO members can use this form. Our donations are processed through Givebutter, and there will be an opportunity to see if your employer matches donations through Double the Donation.
