Magpie is generally sweet and cooperative for farm staff but has been known to show some sass. As long as things are consistent, she is friendly and calm, but she can be feisty and feel the need to protect her friends by bluff charging when she sees a “scary” staff or visitor. She still exhibits the incredible curiosity she had as a wee little calf and will be the first one up to investigate who is coming to visit and decide whether they are friend or foe. Overall, she a great girl, makes the nice list each year, and knows that she gets treats when she makes good choices!
